Minnesota Senate Media Services |

The Minnesota Senate provides live and archive coverage
of Senate floor sessions, committee hearings, press conferences and
special events. Capitol Report, a weekly public affairs program,
and civic education videos also are archived. All programming is
produced by Senate Media Services. Audio coverage is recorded and
reported by Senate Committee staff and Senate Sergeant At Arms office.

| Senate Sends $1 Billion Dollar Public Works Bill To Governor | The Senate sent the Governor a nearly $1 billion dollar public works bill that advocates say will create up to 20,000 jobs, but opponents argue is too large. The Senate approved the conference committee report on the measure Thursday, March 11th.

Video coverage for Senate floor sessions and select meetings was introduced
on the Senate web pages in 2002. Audio coverage was made available on the web
in 2005. Copies of archive files can be obtained by contacting Senate Media Services
for video archives and Senate Supply for audio archives.
